Cuts, grazes and inflamed skin are part and parcel of growing up but Geraldine Andrews spent her entire childhood covered in painful, itchy patches which impacted every aspect of her life. The Kildare woman has had eczema since she was a baby and the common skin condition, which affects one in five children and one in 10 adults in Ireland, has only recently been brought under some sort of control.
